At Domarn, we create bold, purposeful exhibition and point-of-sale materials that help our clients stand out, connect with their audience, and communicate key messages with impact. From pop-up displays to fully branded stands, our designs are clear, engaging, and tailored to each event environment, whether it’s a high-profile public sector presence or a busy commercial showcase.
MCA - Southampton International Boat Show
Domarn was proud to support the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) at the 2024 Southampton International Boat Show an important event for showcasing marine safety, sustainability, and career opportunities in the maritime sector.
We were commissioned to design and produce a full set of stand graphics and supporting pop-up displays to bring the MCA’s key messages to life. The visuals needed to be bold, clear, and engaging able to attract visitors while communicating vital information about safety at sea, coastal awareness, and joining HM Coastguard.
One of our lead designers, Cathy, a passionate sailor who regularly sails the Solent from her home on the Isle of Wight, played a key role in shaping the creative direction. “Having sailed these waters myself, I wanted to make sure our designs spoke to both seasoned sailors and newcomers. We aimed to create a space that felt authentic and approachable—something that would resonate with people who are passionate about the marine environment and safety."
The stand featured clear zoning to support different themes—from promoting safety and distress beacon registration to exploring careers in the maritime sector. Cathy’s personal experience ensured the design felt grounded in the boating community, connecting with visitors on a deeper level.
The result was a dynamic, impactful exhibition presence that helped the MCA meet its objectives: raising awareness, promoting safety, and highlighting exciting career opportunities in the marine industry.
